Los cedros «verdaderos» viven en el Atlas y el Himalaya; en América, la madera aromática de los enebros se ganó el nombre de cedro, y con esa madera se hicieron durante años los lápices y los baúles de cedro que todos recordamos.A fun fact: although everyone calls it cedar, botanically it is a juniper, a cousin of the one whose berries flavour gin. The “true” cedars grow in the Atlas and the Himalayas; in the Americas, the fragrant wood of junipers earned the name cedar, and for years it was the wood behind the pencils and cedar chests we all remember.

Cuidado conWatch out for
- Siempre diluido: nunca lo pongas puro sobre la piel.Always diluted: never apply it neat to the skin.
- Es espeso y, con el frío o el tiempo, puede formar cristales de cedrol en el fondo del frasco: es normal. Entíbialo al baño maría y agítalo antes de pesar.It is thick and, with cold or time, may form cedrol crystals at the bottom of the bottle: this is normal. Warm it gently in a water bath and shake before weighing.
- Guárdalo bien cerrado para que no se oxide, y haz una prueba de parche si lo vas a usar en piel sensible.Keep it tightly closed so it does not oxidise, and do a patch test if you will use it on sensitive skin.
