Es aceite de ricino hidrogenado unido a unas 40 unidades de óxido de etileno. A temperatura ambiente es una pasta suave que se disuelve en agua y en alcohol. Envuelve las moléculas del aroma en gotitas tan pequeñas que el producto queda claro en vez de lechoso.It is hydrogenated castor oil bonded to about 40 units of ethylene oxide. At room temperature it is a soft paste that dissolves in water and alcohol. It wraps fragrance molecules in droplets so small that the product stays clear instead of milky.

Cómo se usaHow to use it
- Si está muy espeso, entíbialo un poco (sin pasar de 60 °C) para poder pesarlo.If it is very thick, warm it slightly (no more than 60 °C) so you can weigh it.
- Mézclalo primero con la fragancia o el aceite esencial hasta que quede uniforme.Mix it first with the fragrance or essential oil until uniform.
- Si la fórmula lleva alcohol, disuelve la mezcla en el alcohol antes de agregar el agua.If the formula contains alcohol, dissolve the mix in the alcohol before adding the water.
- Agrega el agua despacio y revolviendo bien. Si se pone turbio, agrégala más lento o sube el solubilizante.Add the water slowly while stirring well. If it turns cloudy, add it more slowly or increase the solubiliser.

- Evita ácidos o bases fuertes: el pH del producto debe quedar entre 4 y 8.Avoid strong acids or bases: keep the product pH between 4 and 8.
- Cada aceite pide una proporción distinta: haz una prueba pequeña antes del lote.Each oil needs a different ratio: make a small test before the full batch.
- Respeta el máximo de cada aceite esencial: el solubilizante no lo vuelve más seguro.Respect each essential oil’s maximum: the solubiliser does not make it safer.
- Es etoxilado (PEG): algunos sellos de cosmética natural no lo aceptan.It is ethoxylated (PEG): some natural-cosmetics labels do not accept it.
