Es un líquido transparente, espeso, sin olor y de sabor dulce. Químicamente es un poliol (un alcohol de azúcar). Atrae y retiene agua, suaviza la piel y además sirve para disolver ingredientes que no se mezclan bien con el agua y para premezclar gomas.It is a clear, thick, odourless liquid with a sweet taste. Chemically it is a polyol (a sugar alcohol). It attracts and holds water, softens the skin and also helps dissolve ingredients that do not mix well with water and premix gums.

- Más de 5 % en una crema suele dejar sensación pegajosa. Si quieres más hidratación, combínala con otro humectante.More than 5% in a cream usually feels sticky. If you want more moisture, combine it with another humectant.
- El «jabón de glicerina» es una base de jabón ya hecha. Esta glicerina líquida sola no sirve para hacerlo.“Glycerin soap” is a ready-made soap base. This liquid glycerin on its own will not make it.
- Absorbe humedad del aire: cierra bien el envase.It absorbs moisture from the air: keep the container tightly closed.
